We have just returned from our tour of the Arizona and Utah. I would like to thank you both personally for your excellent guides (we bought the ones for Zion, Bryce, Moab (Arches) and Grand Canyon). They were superbly edited and a great help to planning our hikes and excursions.
The accompanying audio guides are very informative and entertaining. Cannot recommend these guides highly enough. Really superb. -
My family of 6 loves listening to audiobooks while we travel, so this was a natural fit! We loved learning about the park while we drove around the park. The kids’ favorite stories were about the deaths in the Grand Canyon. For Christmas we had to buy them the book referenced by Matt! The itineraries were also invaluable as we traveled with other family members. All the suggestions were wonderful. Thank you, Matt and Cheryl, for making our family trip amazing and easy!

We love We’re in the Rockies! My husband and I enjoyed our first driving trip to a National Park last year, visiting the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon. We watched many videos by Matt and Cheryl as we prepared for our big adventure, and in retrospect, their information gave us all that we needed for a fantastic trip. We especially enjoyed the audio guides, which were very well researched and interesting. We are history buffs, and Matt’s commentary was so captivating! It was fun to have “the cook’s tour” as we drove to the park each day. Many thanks, Matt and Cheryl, for sharing so much helpful information with us! We appreciate your expertise!

Loved this guide. Made choosing activities with my small kids easy! Highly recommend!
We used Matt and Cheryl’s guide for a quick Grand Canyon Trip over spring break. Their insight and itinerary helped so much while planning what to do. On the advice from the itinerary we rented e-bikes and took the train trip from Williams to the GC and had a blast. We really enjoyed listening to Matt’s audio guide as we drove to the park each day and as we were leaving. It helped to listen to the history while we were there and we could visualize everything he was talking about. Even our teenage daughters seemed to enjoy it. We didn’t get time to do some things they recommended like hike down into the canyon or do the walking tour (temps were pretty cold when we were there in early April) so we’ll plan on doing some of those things the next time we go. Matt and Cheryl really made this last minute quick trip from Northern Utah work for us.
This is a long overdue review of our AWESOME 16-day 25th wedding anniversary trip in October 2024 starting at the Grand Canyon South Rim, then on to the North Rim, Page, AZ, followed by the Mighty Five in Utah – Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. Matt and Cheryl’s guides were invaluable in planning our trip and plotting our long route covering over 2,500 miles. They leave no detail untouched and Matt’s audio guides were informative, fun, and gave depth to our trip. Cheryl was quickly responsive to a few of my emails and helped ease my concerns. Following their recommendations for pretty much everything, we enjoyed a beautiful Wilderness River Adventures raft trip to Horseshoe Bend and an awesome Antelope X slot canyon tour in Page, a heart-thumping Dan Mick Jeep Tour of the slickrock in Moab, and a stunning hot air balloon ride with Canyonland Ballooning where we viewed from above a coyote chasing a jack rabbit. We explored the long, teeth chattering ride on the Shafer Trail, and the must-see Scenic Route 12 from Capitol Reef to Bryce (passing through Dixie National Forest and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and stopping by the excellent Anasazi State Park Museum). Before returning to Las Vegas for our flight home, we finished our 5-star trip at Zion where we explored not only the busy canyon but also the beautiful Kolob Terrace Road scenic drive into the high country in Virgin, UT, and the excellent Taylor Creek Middle Fork Trail hike off of East Kolob Canyon Road. Our travels along the entire trip included various scenic drives and lots of hiking – long and short – in all of the parks using Matt and Cheryl’s recommendations. Well done We’re In The Rockies with our sincere appreciation – we’ll be back for more of their guides!
We are from the Netherlands and this summer, we went on a road trip in the West of the U.S. for the first time. Besides a couple of cities, we definitely wanted to see and hike some parks during our 3 and a half weeks of holiday. Planning the big trip, we found Matt & Cheryl on the internet. Their (audio) guides (Yellowstone, Grand Canyon and Zion) as well as some of their YouTube videos were a fantastic help in preparing our trip, especially as we had very limited time to visit each park and did not exactly know what to expect. The guides are very well researched, clear, full of practical information and with some great insider tips (one of our most memorable highlights was a sunrise in Grand Canyon with nobody else but our family – just awesome…). The audio guides give some interesting background information and are entertaining to listen to when on the road.
If we come back for another park, we will surely buy the according guide again. And hopefully we can come back – what a beautiful nature you have over there:)!
We absolutely recommend We’re in the Rockies.
A big shout out for your itineraries! I bought this one as well as two more for our upcoming trip and they have been quite a worthwhile and essential part of our trip planning with great info that saves hours and hours of research, they are great bang for the buck.
Thanks for you effort!
