Route 128,The Potash Road (Bow Tie and Corona Arch hike) and the La Sal Loop recommendations were truly unique and so welcomed. Much about the National Parks has been written but these off the beaten path suggestions were icing on the cake!
We really enjoyed our guide to Yellowstone! The itinerary suggestions allowed us to formulate a plan, along with the trail, park facilities and the historical information we entered the park like pros! We would thoroughly recommend any of ‘We’re in the Rockies’ guides or itineraries.
Very thorough, but for a specific audience. We really appreciated the audio program, but we couldn’t follow your schedule. Being seniors and not in hiking shape and also claustrophobic, we couldn’t do the hikes or the caves so that allowed us to have more time in the other places that we enjoyed. We had a total of 4 days so one day we visited the Devils Tower and Spearfish sites. One day we spent a lot of time on the wildlife loop and then we visited Mt. Rushmore. Another day we drove the needles highway and Crazy Horse site. Final day we spent in Deadwood. We loved the brothel museum. It was alot, alot of driving, but the audio helped and the land is all so beautiful! We also ate alot of BEEF! We loved the Fireman’s restaurant in Rapid City. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. Not Good! Waterpark is on site. Insufficient staff and facilities for the number of lodgers. Not quality but sufficient. Free breakfast was nice. Not impressed with Spearfish Resort either! Staff not very nice or adequate!
I was glad to travel on down the road to the crossing and enjoyed an Indian taco and DELICIOUS carrot cake (but I think restaurant is for sale). Overall, it was super easy to travel from one interesting site to another and we came home and watched Dances with Wolves to enjoy scenery again! Thank you and if we travel “out west” again, we will use your services.
I took on the task of planning a trip to Yellowstone for my elderly parents and this guide was invaluable in making the most of the time we had. We were only there for two full days and I feel like we were able to hit all of the highlights by using the guide. It’s very thorough and full of tips. We loved the Old Faithful Inn, the lower geyser basin area, Mammoth Springs, and our spectacular drive through Lamar Valley. Well worth the money!
We just got back from our trip to Olympic National Park and Mt. Rainier. This was our second trip using your guides. Last year it was Yellowstone and the Tetons. Your guides were a tremendous asset. I can recommend them to others without reservation.
Your suggestions were so helpful and we just about checked off all our plans. This was such a good trip. We were blessed with amazing weather. Your itinerary helped guide us even though we went clockwise from Quinalt Lodge, the opposite way you presented. . All the suggestions helped us get a complete trip without too much crisscrossing. We purchased the Yellowstone package and absolutely loved it. We appreciated the work they put into it and how it was presented. We learned a lot more about the area and enjoyed the funny stories as well. Their materials are more than just an itinerary, including maps, stories, food, recommendations, where to stay, what to avoid, etc.. I would highly recommend. We saved money and time within the first 30 minutes of reading their itinerary. We would purchase their materials again.
We spent the month of August touring Yellowstone, Glacier, Waterton, Banff and Jasper – what a wonderful experience! Glacier parking was a nightmare but the rest of the parks were not bad. We tried 5 times to do Trail of the Cedars but could never park. Waterton was interesting but we didn’t feel compelled to stay long – not a lot of wildlife. Both Banff and Jasper took my breath away! People were so helpful and we saw tons of wildlife. Thank you for sharing the information about Pursuit – they took us around to a lot of places and set up a lot of our excursions. I would definitely recommend your guides to friends!
