- Congress Trail ✮✮✮ Walking this trail feels like wandering among living beings. These giants are named after famous Americans, making for a very fun “presidential tree hunt.”
- Moro Rock ✮✮✮ A short, slightly adventurous hike up 400 stone stairs. You are rewarded with an incredible, sweeping viewpoint of the mountains and valleys below.
- Generals Highway ✮✮✮ Why walk when you can DRIVE amongst giants? This spectacular scenic road winds its way through mountains, valleys, and towering Sequoias.
- General Grant Tree ✮✮✮ Our FAVORITE tree in both parks. It is actually thicker at the base than Sherman and has a more reverent feel due to fewer crowds. It’s also the Nation’s Christmas Tree!
- Kings Canyon Scenic Byway ✮✮✮ A stunning, wow-inducing mountain drive. It drops you down into possibly the deepest canyon in the United States.
- Zumwalt Meadow ✮✮✮ A lovely, peaceful walk across a lush, grass-filled mountain meadow. You will be surrounded by massive boulders and soaring granite peaks.
