Cape Royal Point provides the most interesting view of the Grand Canyon from the North Rim.
Getting There
It requires a 23-mile drive to get there from the Grand Canyon Lodge. An optional side trail will take you to Point Imperial for a different view.
Cape Royal
From the parking lot, access the trail that leads to two viewpoints: Cape Royal and Angels Window. Angels Window is the best feature on the North Rim, with sheer drops on both sides as you walk out on a narrow ledge.
