Olympic National Park is a large park with many different areas to explore. Many of the areas have limited restaurant options. Most restaurants are located in Forks, Port Angeles, and Port Townsend.

Blue Moose Cafe

Blue Moose Cafe was voted best breakfast in Port Townsend by the locals. Blue Moose Cafe has an extensive list of breakfast items to choose from, including hash dishes, breakfast burritos, and omelets. The most popular menu item is any of their hashes, with corn beef hash and the fully loaded veggie hash being the top favorites.
Blue Moose Cafe is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served all day.
Bayview Restaurant
- Cuisine: Homestyle with seafood specialties

- Reservations: Not Required. Check out the menu.
Bayview Restaurant, situated right on Port Townsend Bay, has incredible views while also serving up delicious food. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with many options to choose from. For breakfast, they offer egg dishes like scrambles, meat and egg combos, and omelets. They also have pancake and waffle plates. For lunch and dinner, their menu includes several seafood dishes, burgers, and sandwiches. The top local favorite dishes are the clam chowder and fish & chips. You also must try a slice of their homemade pie!
Port Angeles
Strait Slice

- Cuisine: Pizza
- Price: $-$$
- Reservations: Not required; however, if you are ordering a whole pie, I suggest placing an order before you arrive because there is often a long wait time in the store. Check out their menu.
Strait Slice serves up hand-tossed, NY-style pizza. They have ready-to-go slices as well as full pies. You can choose one of their specialty pizzas or make your own. If you’re going for the pizza by the slice, there are 4 options, changing daily. The most popular pizzas are the “Vegan Pie” and “A Meeting of the Swines”.
The Blackbird Coffeehouse

- Cuisine: Coffee, sandwiches, and pastries
- Price: $
- Reservations: Not required. Check out the menu.
The Blackbird Coffeehouse is your typical sit-down coffee shop. They offer coffee, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Most of their menu items are made in-house, from scratch. The most popular menu item is their Rustic Quiche. The walls of the coffee shop are filled with local artwork for sale.
Blackbird Coffeehouse is open Monday through Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.
Yodelin Broth Company
- Cuisine: Broth and Rice Bowls
- Price: $$-$$$
- Reservations: Recommended, make a reservation through their website. Check out the menu.
Yodelin Broth Company is a locally owned restaurant that strives to create healthy meals with a low environmental impact. While they do specialize in homemade broths, they also offer rice bowls and burgers. One of the more interesting things on the menu is the Halibut Bone Broth. They also have vegan and vegetarian meals. The most popular menu item is the PNW Wild Salmon Bowl.
Lake Crescent
Lake Crescent Lodge Dining Room


- Cuisine: American Cuisine
- Price: $$-$$$
- Reservations: Recommended for dinner, they book up about a month in advance. Call 360-928-3211 to book a reservation. Check out their menu.
Lake Crescent Lodge Dining Room is situated right on Lake Crescent, with views of the lake from the dining room. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a fairly big breakfast menu featuring items like the Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and steak and eggs. Their lunch menu has soups, salads, and entrees. Some of the entrees include Elk & Pork Bratwurst, a locally sourced beef burger, and fish and chips. For dinner, you can find King Salmon, Ribeye Steak, and a Mediterranean Chicken dish.
Lake Crescent Lodge Dining Room is open from 7:30 am to 10:30 am for breakfast, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for lunch, and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for dinner. The dining room is open from April 28 to January 1.
Sol Duc
The Springs Restaurant at Sol Duc Hot Springs

- Cuisine: Northwest Cuisine
- Price: $$-$$$
- Reservations: Not required. Check out their menu.
The Springs Restaurant located at the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, is the only restaurant located at the heart of the Sol Duc Valley. This is a great option for fulfilling your hunger after a soak in the hot springs or after a long day of hiking. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Their breakfast menu has a variety of options, including huevos rancheros, biscuits with chorizo gravy, and a classic egg plate with meat and potatoes. For lunch and dinner, they offer a variety of burgers, including elk burgers. They also have house specialties like local sockeye and steak.
This restaurant is only open seasonally, as the entire Sol Duc area closes from winter through spring.

Forks and La Push
Longhouse Cafe

- Cuisine: Native American
- Price: $$-$$$
- Reservations: No reservations. Check out their menu.
The Longhouse Cafe is a Native American restaurant serving up classics like indian tacos and smoked salmon dip. While it’s a common complaint that the price point doesn’t line up with how indian tacos are usually priced, I think the main reason to visit this restaurant is for the experience. The Longhouse Cafe offers a cultural ambiance, with Salish ceremonies being displayed on the TV, traditional Native American songs being played over the speakers, and indigenous artwork hung on the walls. Plus, the food is pretty good!

A Shot in the Dark

A Shot in the Dark is my go-to coffee shop in Forks. Their lattes are always delicious, and they have reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches. They also offer non-caffeinated drinks, such as milkshakes, smoothies, and teas. This is a drive-thru coffee shop, so there is no seating.
3 Rivers Resort Restaurant



- Cuisine: American Cuisine
- Price: $-$$
- Reservations: Not required. Call-ahead orders are allowed. Check out their menu.
3 Rivers Resort Restaurant is located on La Push Road, west of Forks. This restaurant claims that they have “World Famous Burgers.” They serve classic beef burgers, as well as chicken, veggie, and seafood burgers. They also serve refreshing shakes, sundaes, and banana splits. This resort is known for its Twilight signage and even has a Twilight menu, featuring the “Werewolf Burger” and “Vampire Shake”.
Hoh Rain Forest
Hard Rain Cafe
- Cuisine: American
- Price: $$
- Reservations: No reservations, walk-up counter

Hard Rain Cafe is a locally owned restaurant and campground situated on the Upper Hoh Road. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. They mostly offer sandwiches and burgers, with the Olympus Burger being a fan favorite. Matt ate here and didn’t find it very impressive.

Kalaloch
Creekside Restaurant at the Kalaloch Lodge

- Cuisine: Pacific Northwest Cuisine
- Price: $$-$$$
- Reservations: Recommended, reservations are made online. Check out their menu.
Creekside Restaurant sits right along the ocean, giving you beautiful views while enjoying your meal. 60% of their menu is locally sourced or organic, making them a certified Green Restaurant. They offer three meals a day. Their breakfast menu is fairly small, offering a breakfast burrito, a sandwich, and a breakfast platter with meat and a side. They also have sweet breakfast options like the pancakes, French toast, and oatmeal. Their dinner menu is where they really stand out. Offering locally caught king salmon, filet mignon, crab mac & cheese, and elk burgers.

The Roosevelt Dining Room is located in Lake Quinault Lodge, sitting right along the water with lake views. The Roosevelt Dining Room is an upscale restaurant, serving some unique meal options. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. For breakfast, you can expect some usual offerings like biscuits and gravy or an egg platter with meat and potatoes. But, they also have sweet potato pancakes and smoked salmon hash. Their lunch menu mostly consists of sandwiches, with options like a salmon BLT or an ahi tuna sandwich. For dinner, they have 8 entrees to choose from, including a king salmon plate, duck, and a wagyu burger.
